STRIDE Hosts Poster Session at the 2019 Autonomous Vehicles Symposium

Research posters showcasing STRIDE-funded and cost-share projects were displayed at the 2019 Autonomous Vehicles Symposium in Orlando, FL on July 16. The poster session contained work from students affiliated with University Transportation Centers (UTCs) in the Southeastern region. A total of 23 posters were displayed during the summit focusing on AV, CV and other advanced technologies in transportation.

The annual Automated Vehicles Symposium convenes 1,500 representatives from industry, government, and academia. Produced by the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) in partnership with the Transportation Research Board (TRB), topics covered during the symposium included operations, human factors, enabling technologies, roadworthiness certification, public policy, shared mobility, infrastructure, law, cybersecurity, ethics, and consumer acceptance.
