The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) is developing an Autonomous Vehicle Challenge summer camp that will spark interest in the emerging transportation field of AVs and seed small teams from local schools to successfully compete in the Georgia Gravity Games Autonomous Vehicle Challenge. The 2020 5-day camp will have hands-on project-based activities including python programming and the development of hardware and software for an Autonomous Gravity Racer (AGR). Additionally, lessons learned and a full construction guide will be published on a website for use by other teams interested in competing in Georgia or organizations/schools wanting to start their own similar challenge.
