The STRIDE Center’s second pre-proposal period began February 22, 2013 and ended Friday, March 29, 2013. Pre-proposals were evaluated and some researchers were invited to submit full proposals, which were due on June 21, 2013.  New projects were selected late August 2013, and all projects have been completed as of spring 2017. Information on future RFPs will be posted on this page.

For questions regarding the STRIDE proposal process, contact Ines Aviles-Spadoni at iaviles@ce.ufl.edu.

Quarterly reports are required for all STRIDE-funded research, education, workforce development, and technology transfer projects. Only one quarterly report is due for each project.  The Principal Investigator should send the report to the STRIDE Center research programs coordinator (Ines Aviles-Spadoni) at iaviles@ce.ufl.edu.  The template and other supporting documents for the preparation of the reports are posted below.

STRIDE Quarterly Report Template (updated) [view]

Progress Schedule (NCHRP style)     [view]

Quarterly Report Schedule for STRIDE 2013 Sub-Projects:  STRIDE 2 projects began in October 2013, so the first QR will be due on Jan 15, 2014. Subsequent QRs due: April 15, July 15, Oct 15, etc.

Final Reports

A draft of the final report is due to the STRIDE Center coordinator (Ines Aviles-Spadoni, iaviles@ce.ufl.edu) at least last three months before the project ends.

This time period allows for the external peer review process, as well as the eventual preparation and delivery of the final research report by the principal investigator on the project.

PIs will be responsible for incorporating reviewer comments into the final report. All final reports will be sent to the various entities as specified in the 2012 USDOT/RITA Grant Deliverables and Requirements for UTCs document within two months after projects have been completed.
