Christopher Brown, a senior at The Citadel, won 2nd Place for his poster on Traffic Congestion, Planning, Rural Transportation at the 6th Annual UTC Conference for the Southeastern Region at Clemson, S.C. Chris is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering where he also serves as the Graduate College class representative for the School of Engineering and Graduate College treasurer. His transportation research was conducted under the mentorship and guidance of Dr. Dimitra Michalaka, assistant professor in the School of Engineering at The Citadel. Chris has received an Associates in Science degree and Certificates in Land Surveying and Computer Aided Design from Trident Technical College. He was employed as a Field Technician with Engineering Consulting Services but has recently accepted employment with Constantine Engineering.
