Leila Azizi of FIU is working on a STRIDE project with Dr. Mohammed Hadi titled “Performance Measurement & Management Using Connected & Automated Vehicle Data”

Leila Azizi is a doctoral student at Florida International University working on a STRIDE funded project titled “Performance Measurement and Management using Connected and Automated Vehicle Data.” Her adviser is Dr. Mohammed Hadi. On this project, Leila is specifically focusing on probability of breakdown, platooning, stability and safety estimation. Leila has presented preliminary findings related to this project at the 97th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) in January 2018, at the 6th Annual University Transportation Centers (UTC) Conference for the Southeastern Region hosted by the Center for Connected Multimodal Mobility (C2M2) at Clemson University in October 2018, and at the Florida Section ITE meeting. She will also be presenting her work at the Florida Autonomous and Connected Vehicle Summit in November 2018. After graduation, Leila plans to continue working in the connected vehicles area.
